These River Otters are in a compound at Grandfather Mountain in North Carolina. This ecological preserve is the highest Peak in the Blue Ridge Mountains. It has several compounds with native species. The River Otter is a common species in Rivers and lakes but is elusive and seldom seen in the wild.
